Good overall, but battery could be improved
This is a nice controller to use and it fits the shape of most hands very well.
Shape:
Nice shape but probably better for smaller hands. Buttons placed nicely which are easy to use when playing games. When compared to the Xbox, I wouldn’t rank it highly as I prefer the Xbox controller but this is not much of a step down.
Battery:
The battery is probably the biggest downfall for me. I have had the controller for quite a while (around 2 years) but at the same time, the battery is terrible. It lasts me approximately 1-2 hours which isn’t very long when you’re playing games! But the good thing is that it can be charged while you’re playing with the wire which doesn’t affect gameplay as it doesn’t get in the way.
Price:
The price is so high! At 50£ it is just too expensive. It couldn’t cost them more than 10£ to make so I don’t know how they get away with charging so much for the remote. It can probably be bought cheaper elsewhere but 50£ is just too much.
Quality:
The remote has a very nice feel to it so it’s hard to be disappointed. It’s obviously good quality and not cheaply made. All the components in it are quite elaborate.
Ratings:
Shape: 8/10
Battery: 6/10
Price; 5/10
Quality: 9/10
OVERALL: 7/10
In total, this remote has been very good with no problems. It is a high quality device that will connect and work seamlessly with your PS4. Overpriced, but good all the same.
